Been watching for about 10 minutes now, and there is the hind quarters of a deer off to the right that hasn't flinched the entire time. Makes you wonder a bit.

Yeah, I could see that being bad for most people. Where did David go? I don't know but as he pulled out of the parking lot his tires were smoking!

does anyone know what is involved in getting a live feed like this? How would one go about doing this on their own lease and feed it back to their personal computer?

You can't fix stupid

There are companies that do this. A couple of website have live feed cams, one feed company and one forum. Eagle Cams IIRC???? used to install them on ranches.

I know what it used to be years ago and was expensive, but with technology today I would say it is much cheaper. Those cams on the other sites have controls to pan and zoom.

I am buying some property and a new home right now. I got my hands on a great outdoor camera at work which I will be putting on the feeder in the backyard. I will be able to view it from my office and also on my tv in the bedroom incase any hogs or coons come in at night. I will just open the bedroom window and handle up on them. I can't wait.

The biggest issue/cost is 'bandwidth' from the camera to the internet;
If remote, cellular data costs will eat you alive (for live motion VIDEO)-
If you can get DSL or Cable modem to ranch, and use WIFI to the feeder, it can be done reasonable with standard security/surveillance equipment.

so my blind is 'already built' 3200 square feet w HVAC, kingsize bed, fireplace, etc etc. !!

Rab would have a nervous breakdown and require multiple Xanax. Prolly top it off with several dos Equis. They really need to get a handle on about 20 of them.

This was a picture of a buck in the backyard last year. Not a monster but not bad for hunting off the backporch. I hope to show you guys a few more this year that I got myself.
