Not the biggest buck but he's got 3 drop tines. Shoot or walk?

Well it appears the decision was already made.
I would shoot as well

Maybe its the picture, but I am not seeing a gross score of more than 130 and I initially thought low 120s.

Would I shoot him? Depends? Depends on how heavy the hunting pressure was and how much room to roam he had. If I knew he was staying in the heart of a 1,000+ acre ranch that I owned, I would make a science experiment out of him, pour on the protein, and let him go another year or two.

If I was a lease hunter on a sub-500 acre tract, I probably would be content with shooting that deer.

If my son shot that deer, I would be ecstatic regardless of the conditions. If my neighbor shot that deer, I would be irritated and/or jealous.

Either way, it is too late to reverse the decision to shoot or not.

He was maybe 17" wide mid 120s.

That'd be a good looking euro, but not enough to make a shoulder mount for me.

Moot point, obviously. I've never killed a drop tine buck, so I wouldn't have hesitated to shoot in the slightest. You're there to do what you want (legally), not please anybody else.

You did not shoot him so what was done should not concern you.

Actually, Don K it does. This post was a shoot or walk post and it appears as though the OP was asking for opinions from the peanut gallery. I offered mine. I continued to offer my opinion as to how I would honor a fallen animal after a kill when the score was posted. Your condemnation of my opinion is not appreciated. Especially considering that you haven't contributed to the conversation on this particular topic at all, but rather, choose to rudely respond to my post.

To me you sound like one of those that when someone proudly posts a picture of a Deer they have taken instead of congratulating them you tell them they should have waited another year. If you think that is rude then so be it.

I say you must of liked as you shot. For me, it would all depend on what I've been seeing to date vs. the ranch's/lease's potential to see or harvest. That said, he's fairly mature, 4+ and the triple drops would have been tempting..

He'd have gotten another year from me. But couldn't blame a hunter that takes him.

My buck this year had a forked G2 and a kicker off a G4 for a total of 12 pts. Had he been a mainframe 10 I'd likely have passed for a year but the character, combined with outstanding mass throughout the rack, made the decision pretty easy. He scored 139.

Yes, I can see how I totally came across that way:

...furthermore, I am honest enough to admit this:

You have an incorrect assumption about me and when you assume something...well, I know how the rest of that saying goes.

Good answer. It seems like you have pretty good knowledge on that deer, did y'all age him by tooth wear?

I guess a lot depends. Some say shoot, some say pass, but we don't know anything about that buck. He could be 2.5 and grew up on protein or he could be 7.5 and on his way down. Or he could be right in the middle. No way to tell just form the horns. As a young buck I would pass him as an old buck I would grease him as an in the middle age deer I would be trying to make him look older so I could rifle him.
