I want to try your version skinner, looks awesome! You posted it here a while back right? Yes sir, I'd like to try yours too. I've only made it once but was some good stuff! Your's looks really good. I've never made my own venison or pork stock, all of my bones go to my dogs or in the gut pile. I've been wanting to though, to throw some bones on the pit & cook them; then boil them down. I boil my shrimp heads/shells for broth for gumbo but...

Makes a great stock. I do mine similar to the recipe above, but like to roast the veggies also until they take on a lot of color, makes for a darker more flavorful stock.

I haven't done it in a while...need to start doing it again....I used to make lots of different broths by cooking down bones/meats/vegies/seasonings/etc.... After it is all cooked down, let it cool then pour into an ice cube tray and freeze....after frozen remove from the tray and place cubes of broth in a freezer bag....easy to store and easy to use. Just pull out what you need place cubes in a pan and thaw on low heat.....
