This was a fun video I put together from the video from 2 different Armasight Zeus thermal scopes. As the boar came in, it looked like it was stalking the raccoons at the feeder. It certainly didn't seem to be doing the normal sort of security checks hogs do when they come into an open pasture, looking around, sniffing the air, etc. Nope, this hog seemed fixated on what was going on at the feeder. I changed his mind.

I thoroughly enjoy your vids, hoping to see a new one every time I pop in here. Great resolution and clarity on that thermal unit. I've witnessed the same behavior several times from deer bedded very nearby at night. Firing a non suppressed AR-10 in .308, deer as close as what you have in this vid remain in place. I'm guessing they may pause chewing their cud at the report of the shot but only briefly.
Cheers

Nice! It'll take more than a couple of Excedrin to cure that hog's headache . . . Which reminds me of an old riddle — Why should a hog never get sick? Because in order to be cured, it has to be killed first! Great video, thanks!

I don't believe you shot him with the Grendel. Where is the ping? Did you put on a can?
God Bless
