Don't care a bit.

I'll still continue to go. The triple meat, triple cheese, no veggies, mayo, on texas toast, and whatasized.

Who cares? Besides they have a point, it will make some people uncomfortable and they are in business to make money. Why risk it?

I go there for the food, not to show off my gun. If they don't want to see it, they won't see it. If they go 30-06, different story.

The corporate level should have stayed neutral and let each franchise owner decide. Then it would have never made the national news.

Still fine with me - I'm not a fan of pointless, attention-seeking behavior.

Only a handful of franchised WB's in the state. Nearly every single one is owned by the family corp.

Wouldn't be too smart to let all the individual managers inject their personal politics and policies on something like this. They had to fall one way or the other. There isn't a choice they could make that wouldn't have people stamping their indignant and offended feet.

Their house, their rules. CHLs are held by less than 2% of Texans; even if they put up 30.06 it won't affect their bottom line.

It was just good to hear them say that they supported the 2nd amendment and support concealed carry, only if all businesses in Texas did...

I don't understand why anyone would be upset,I'll guarantee you that when the law goes into affect you won't see many Texans open carrying.

The ones that open carry will probably be pierced like a pin cushion with blue hair.

My only issue with Whataburger is the number of their employees who do not know what a "double-double" is! I thought everyone in Texas knew what "double-double"means but apparently a lot of their staff don't. LOL.

LOL, I used to shake my head at some of those folks - mostly youngsters. I would order a double double all the way, then get asked if I wanted cheese/lettuce/tomato/pickle/onion. scratch They've been pretty good here lately.
