A week or so ago I was down on the Trinity River trying to find a decent place to fish, and I saw so much hog sign it got my brain a tumbling. This is down south of I-20 in different spots in Wilmer, Ferris and other various towns. Most of these places have signs posted no firearms. One place even had the remains of a hog trap,
Anyone know the law on taking a bow and trying to stick a pig in these areas? Or guide me on who to talk to?

Its all wildlife preserve, and private property. The preserves are an obvious no, the private land owners have had so much trespassing and poaching problems the game wardens ask for written permission if you do not have it say by to all your hunting gear and ride.

I have seen them on the side of I45 several times north of I20. Not sure who you would talk to about hunting them but it would be bow only. You might call the Dallas County Game Warden, I bet they know or could point you in the correct direction.
Good Luck
