Was scouting out a new property that I have permission to hunt. The owner asked me to hut it last night and I wish I had all my equipment. Had a large sounder come out at about 10:30pm. Shot this one in the face as it was only 25 yards and was looking like it wanted to charge me. The rest ran in circles and I hit another that went right down but we could not locate it in the high weeds. Hit two more that went in the woods. All in all there were over 20 hogs. The property owner was very happy as they were rooting deep holes in his pastures.

cheers awsome, a hunter helping out a land owner with hog problem's... On way back from a hog hunt at WMA their was place would se some hogs every now & then... Seen a guy on ATV , stopped & got his attention... Told him had seen few hog's couple times passing bye... Asked if he knew who owned the place.. He said he did so asked permission ta try take hog for grillen & chillen... Told him if he'd give me phone number would call before came hunted... He said if ya just shooting hogs its okay, but didn't give phone number... my coolest hog hunt was down in the hollows, on WMA, left camera in truck... eased out inta woods came a pone a russan boar, okay their were just milling around, eased up ta tree follen over, it hid the orange, hogs started easing away, last one turned gave me a side shot, took shot, had single shot smooth bore 410 slug... At shot other hogs ran away, one shot at spun charged, rofl russan boar okay it was more of a ferral hog, came straight at me, kept thinking it would see the orange, had to side step ta keep it from knocking me down, the tree was chest high hidding orange, hog ran bout 30 yrds past, stoppped.. Kept waiting for it ta stumble & fall, it eased off... Spent at least 45 minnutes, walking path hog took, no sign of a hit... zombi hog or just bad shot on my part... Tis why i enjoy my hog hunting, & enjoy sharing, i usualy huntsolo ... flag

I never know what I will see. That is what makes hunting so much fun for me. Of course I really like it when I take home some fresh organic meat grill

This one will end up as sausage. I'm getting real good at making some great sausage with all the practice lately.

The owner wanted me to come out again as soon as I am able. Well that will be next weekend for sure. This time I will have my DVR and if the hogs are there there will be some great footage.
