Bull was taken in Texas with my trusty 7mm Weatherby Mag Nosler accubond 160 gr.. It took 3 shots..one from 300 yds the second from 250 yds (when we skinned the bull the first and second shots entered 1 inch apart, the liver was destroyed) the 3rd shot from close up was to the lung. Tough to put down, was really curious if the 7mm mag was gun for one shot.

The stock is curly maple, the weatherby is 1967, scope is a weatherby premium.

Really nice rifle and a good bull. Hard to believe the American Indians used hand made archery equipment to take them.

Very nice up

Have a buddy trying to talk me in to getting into offering buff hunts. I think he just wants someone to unload his animals onto...and sees a sucker when he looks at me. confused2

Awsome trophy. Something that I have always wanted to do. The 7 mag. is probably enough rifle , the key is the bullet. Not really familiar with the Accubond but you need the heaviest jacketed bullet you can find for an animal that big. Penetration is the key.

Again awsome trophy.

That's cool. You going to euro that skull, or what? I have a friend that lives on the Red River, just below the Denison Dam. He found an old buffalo skull and had it dated by Austin College. They said it was 750 years old. It was huge, but cool as all get out.

Mmmm Hmmm
