Except for breakfast, how do you use your venison links? I have several ways. I'll go first. I had to use store bought links tonight. I made pan fried potatoes, with onions, bell peppers, and sausage. I have several other uses. Given me some of your uses?

Smoke, grilled, pan fried, etc. Wrap in warm corn tortilla with a touch of BBQ sauce.
Chop to 3/4 inch pieces, pan sear, cook pasta, with marinara & chopped onion.

Thanks, it was and now I want some I have to use store bought. I have some boned turkey dark meat in the freezer. Cathy is coming home next week. That's one of her favorite dishes. I add a pint of oysters. I plan to do it for her next week. I had some good friends who gave me venison sausage last year but it's all gone I buy 50/50 mix at Vencents at East Bernard when I'm hunting out that way.

I've never tried the store bought, don't even think I've ever seen it.

Staying with the kraut... slice links in half, use a square baking dish, first, bottom layer, lay sliced links, then 2nd layer of kraut on top of the layer of links, season to taste, then 3rd (& final) layer of mashed tators on top of kraut, smooth out tators, place in oven, somewhere around 350, for maybe 30 minutes, or until tator peaks start to brown.

We make something called "dirty dog cabbage" at the fire station. Cook sliced sausage with diced bacon, add in onions and mushrooms, add in chopped cabbage till it cooks down. Add in soy sauce and Worcestershire while it cooks down. Serve with beans and cornbread
Different but actually really good!
