Looking at a Winchester Super Grade in these calibers. The 7mm08 is a 9 1/2 twist, I can't find what twist the .280 is. I'm a shooter not a collector so which one if it was your $$

Almost seems wrong to buy a Super Grade in a Remington cartridge instead of Winchester.

I'd take the 280.

duel

Six of one ...and half a dozen of the other...

Hunting with either one in Texas is a push decision...No real delineation on performance enough to sweat over it.

But...Just for Chits & Giggles... 'cause its a Kool Thang these days... I'd prolly take the 280....IMO it comes down which one has the prettiest wood.

Hunt the Rockies & across the Pond...I'd take the 280, so there you have it....OR ... you could pull the barrel and rechamber it to 28 Nosler and be the ONLY kid on the block to have one for sure.
JMHO & YMMV

I'd prefer the 7mm-08, but would take either one.

Good choice on the rifle. up

I'd take the .280 without reservation.

Pffft, 7mm 168 gr running medium speed, or a 7mm 168 gr with some real oomph?

.280.

Next question?

Isn't that kind of like a comparison between a .308 Win. and .30-06 Springfield?
