I just bought a 2014 f-150 ext cab 4x4 and am thinking of putting on a front leveling kit. I was wondering if you loose any miles per gallon with this modification. I get 18.5 with the 5.0 liter and don't want to loose any mpg

I lost maybe a .5-1 on suburban. This...the level doesn't take as much mpg as the tires that come soon after

Might want to look at new shocks before you do a leveling kit.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

My 2015 with ecoboost is getting about 17mpg. are you considering 2" or 2.5"? sorry to hijack, TexFlip, why do you say to also add new shocks? No you shouldn't have...the eco will eat that 5.0 for lunch I believe what is being said is lift the front using new shocks/coilover and not to use the spacer lifts.

I have always done 2.5 in the front and 2 in the rear...I think that's it...and never seen a big difference to lose any sleep over

I lost a little on my F150 with a 3" level but the tires got my way worse than that! I added a cold air intake to try and offset the difference.

Yelp Fox, King and racho make leveling shocks.
