Experiences, thoughts, opines.. Anything better out there for the money? Budget isn't going to let me go much above this model..
I really hate to do what I am about to do, because it will be very painful for you.

You know, they are what, $1500? I would really suggest getting a Sightmark Photon XT for about 1/3 the price and a decent external illuminator and use the $800 or so that you save on other gear, such as maybe a recorder.
With that said, the N750 is a very functional day/night scope. You can take hogs out to a couple hundred yards with a good illuminator (beyond what it comes with) and coyotes out to over 150. I used to own one before going thermal.
Any digital NV scope works better in open environmental more so than in cluttered environments.

I would agree with DNS. The N750 is a great product, but you can do pretty much the same thing with a Photon XT. Take the extra cash and get a monoc for spotting.

Took this Hog with an N750 at 254 yards Friday night. With Pulsar you get what you pay for. The built in Laser Illuminator is very good and has a low medium and high setting.
My friend has the Photon and it is good but he could not see the hogs that I could see out at over 200 yards. Not that that is a distance I normally shoot hogs at night. But it does happen and we would have gone home skunked if I did not have it that night.

Yes with Pulsar you get what you pay for. I have an N750 and love it. Friend had a Photon and we compared side by side, difference was noticeable.

Don't have any experience with the N750, but I'm sure it is a good outfit.
On the other hand, I do have a fair amount of coyote killing experience with the Sightmark Photon. I never even bother with the onboard IR but feel it would be adequate to about 75 or so yds. Add a T-20 or equivalent and the Photon will see as far as you can safely shoot at night. I have killed coyotes and bobcats at over 220 yds. this past season. I regularly identify deer with the Photon at 400 yds. at night with no problem. Just sayin' you can buy a heck of an IR light with that $800.

I just received a new N750A warranty replacement from Sellmark in Mansfield, Texas. It is noticeably clearer than the previous N750 and has some nice usable features added. I also have a Photon 5X that I still use regularly also. The new N750A is quite a bit better than the Photon. Don't have a new Photon XT to compare to though.
