Well today was somewhat of a set back. He rode the trap line with me today in his little open cage carrier. Man did he not like that at first. He finally settled down and just laid in the corner the rest of the trip. Once he made it home he ran to the corner and stayed there for a good while. Then we had to spend some time in the recliner together so I could say I was sorry for putting him through that.

This is him at supper time...

We're friends again now.

Not yet.

Had a rancher suggest NOE...Nervous One Eye.

After the trip home and the first part of the trip today, it might be Texas Twister.

Many canines suffer from motion sickness, may be worse for a typically non-domesticated type?

That's cool! Do you need a special permit to own a fox? I know you said you were able to keep it on your other post but i'm just curious. Keep the pics coming! up

Sounds like it's named itself "Blooper," if you ask me.

I work for the USDA/APHIS Wildlife Services Program and am authorized through them to keep captured animals for educational and bait collection purposes. WS Directive 2.455 specifically details the care I must provide while they are in my possession.

We had a fox at my old deer lease that had a bad foot. He liked biscuits and tortillas. We named him Toby (re: Roots)

up
I was the only one he would take food from by hand.

Looks like he'd had his foot in a trap and decided to take the rough way out.

Man he's a fatty...note to self...cut back on the biscuits and tortillas.

What a lot of evil blood thirsty hunters we are.

I think my hunting experiences make me a more compassionate human being.

Great job taking care of that little guy! Would love to see more pics!
