We had a Brittany that would go on point for any bug, did it to yellow jacket once, then tried to bit it. He got bit on the tip of the nose, after that if a bug flew he ran from it.

Like that look in the eyes in the first photo. Spotted it from quite a ways off.

It is amazing how these hounds are bred to automatically track and point. I never would have thought I would be training the whoa command with butterflies.

I was wondering the same thing after checking the trail cams this weekend.
