I'm doing a morning15 minute one mile walk with Muffin one the lead and Cracker quartering in front of me.They both chase squirrels in the back yard, but that's about it for me.
How about you?
Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

been working with the lab everyday for 15-25 min late evening (less than 85 degrees) Hes never been worked everyday since he was a pup and i wasnt in the oil field. So i figure thats enough to keep him healthy and active. Also, cut his food back a bit since its not season.

Heck my pup made about 20 laps around the yard chasing me while I mowed. Plus her training walks on the lead.

My Britt keeps herself in shape running up and down the fence barking at deer in the yard morning and evening.

I'll cut food a tiny bit in the summer but not alot. They have a pretty big area to run so every evening when let out of their kennels one at a time, they run as much as they want (which is not alot this time of year) I'll start conditioning them a little bit and do some bird work when we start having some cooler mornings on the weekends.

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Mine got in about 20 miles while we were shooting off fireworks. Does that count?

Mine runs one or two miles daily, depending on if we go once or twice around the place. I follow her in the Ranger, sipping a drink. She follows that with a swim in the tank to cool off.
