Last week I loaded 7mm-08 with 162 A-maxes. Well I left the bullet box next to the press, instead of putting it back on the shelf where it belongs. Today I have lots of 6.5 Credmoor to load in preparation for a match next weekend. I just dove in without verifying what bullet I was about to seat. So here is what number one looks like.

I'm suspecting you might have some feed problems with those.

Perfect reason not to let other people load your ammo. However, this would definitely make a fire-formed case. trout This would be a good photo to frame and hang above your press or mount on the door to your powder storage. No harm no foul.

Give it a cool name like 7mmJG and put it on your cartridge board when ever you get it completed.

I've pulled the same trick seating .257" V-Max in 6mm-284 cases. It's a very easy mistake to make when you've got a huge variety of bullets on the shelf.

That's actually pretty funny...I spend most of the afternoon loading after spending most of Friday attempting to get caught up with brass work bang

So, this is how we rationalize a new rifle build? Forgot to ask, how did #2 turn out?

220, 221, whatever it takes... Man, been there and done similar. At least you caught it early. If not, THAT would be cause for concern... "Hmmmm......these look good to me!"

I wish I was going to make it up there. It's a neat match.

Thus the reason a ladder test works. Builds in some insurance.

dee, I told you they had room. Closer to your camp than mine.

I'll be out of town or I'd be shooting or ro'ing. Luckily the next 2 club matches got bumped to the 4th weekend which works well for me.
