Need to send some factory ammo different places in CONUS, what's the best way to do that??? FedEx? UPS? It is my understanding the USPS does not provide this service, right?

Yes, use UPS. FedEx sucks with shipping ammo. Ammo is a restricted item with the USPS, and can not be shipped. Box it up and put your ORM-D (other restricted materials- domestic) writing on the outside on 3 sides, and you are GTG. If you plan to pay for the shipping at a UPS Store, they will not accept it. But if you pay online, and print your own label and drop it off there, they will take it.

Colt...I already heard that sad story about USPS from years ago, jut dinnit remember the $ #'s. I have enough trouble with USPS locally...and mostly use the bigger loctions in bigger nearby towns with a No Muss No Fuss attitude.

Yep, that's why he said USPS won't do it and gave instructions on how to ship via UPS. You can also take it to a UPS hub. They,ll take it.

Pass the gravy.

Well after finally getting to the Cust Svc at the UPS Hub, this is a dirt simple piece of cake...but just think Marie Antoinette's cake @ $18 bux for 2 ...I said TWO, DOS box's of WSM ammo, along with 2 dozen pieces of empty 1x Norma brass shipped to Knoxville. Good gig to have when you're the only game in town I guess.

But my buyer is on board with the deal so's I can get rid of some WSM ammo that came with the rifle, that I'll never shoot, and THAT's a good thing. banana
