I just got into bow hunting this year and too bad it was after deer season. I got a Bear Whitetail II off of craigslist for my first bow. WHAT A BEAST and not in a good way. LOL way too heavy, adjustments are not that much and it was so dated that the max draw weight I could get was 51 lbs. I am a 29" draw and it is a 30" Long story short my first turkey hunt was this year and I made a great placement and the arrow only went about 5 inches into the turkey lol.. But luckily I was able to track it and take it. NOW my wife, for an early father's day gift, bought me a Diamond Infinity! I went to Academy and had it fitted and adjusted to me. Set it to 65 lbs pull and 29" draw. Put some string silencers on it and got a nice stabilizer for it and put in a peep sight. Went to the range and sighted it in and able to group at 50 yards and able to 1/2 group at 60 yards. I will say practicing like crazy with the Whitetail II heavy bow makes this LIGHT new bow feel like nothing! Sorry I am going on, but I am super excited about this coming bow season! I need to take it out for some hogs before deer season and get the jitters out lol I am in Houston if anyone wants to set up a trip and have some fun with hogs. Joseph

Congrats on the bow.
My piece of advice would be to take it down to your local proshop and have them look it over. I would not, let me repeat, would not trust Academy, Bass Pro, Cabelas, etc touching my bow. I dont want you to have a limb break on you or hurt yourself bc some jackwagon set your bow up incorrectly.
Other than that, keep it up! There isnt too many things better than whacking and stacking.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Good for you on both the turkey and the bow. It's a great sport and very addictive.
