Federal middle eastern contract ammo 6.8 spc using a 90 grain gold dot moving 2850 out of a 16" barrel. Palmetto arms has it for $12.99 a box, suppose to be good hunting/plinking ammo also but at the price of the cheapest factory 6.8 ammo you can find. It shoots great in my 12.5" apr barreled 6.8, hovers around a inch average today out of 8 groups at 100 yards. Very consistent ammo and shoots same poi as my hornady 120 sst. Im usually not that lucky! Speer does not sell the bullet as a component. Yes, its a light bullet, but out of my 12.5" barrel the energy is still the same as a 16" blackout or a 556 shooting heavy bullets out to 250 yards. Should make good cheap hog ammo.

The little pills worked great on a few hogs a couple of evenings ago. Federal makes it for the Saudi royal guard and Jordan secret service detail.

Should work. I used the 115 Fusion on a spike last year, bang flop. Heart/Lung slightly quartering away. I was surprised I didn't get an exit but he dropped and kicked twice and it was over. Hard to complain. I'll probably hunt with it or the 120 SST this fall.

Here is the monster.

I think the 6.8 is the cartridge to have for hunting with an AR

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

It's a good one, and the one I chose for my AR when I'm not using the .308 or 7mm-08 bolt guns.
