Still looking for a reasonably priced lease in smith county or close....I'm a retired vet with low income and it'd just be me and wife. Can trade out some of the cost for work on the lease to help out. Please help...not much luck in finding a lease I can afford and I might hafta be forced to skip the season.

Finding a reasonably priced lease in Smith county is tough. There is always the Old Sabine Bottom if your willing to public hunt. Good luck!

I didn't respond because I have no clue about Smith County. I have to sit out this season too; you're not alone.

Now you have two replies.

I'll add a reply.

There ain't hardly any cheap leases left in Texas. There is sky high demand, & fewer land owners want hunters.

Good luck OP.
