Got some rough cut cedar from a friend, Skinnerback gets first dibs on some if he want it to use for some skull mounts. I want to use some of it to make something, not sure what to make though. Any ideas?

How much do you have? Table? End table? Coasters? Cutting block? Lots of options...just depends on how much you have and how thick....

Line the inside of your box blind, it will smell so nice and keep bugs out.

I have seen Cedar boards used like a back board to hang old Horse shoes or Texas Stars, also as a sign either burning a name in it or using rope to spell something out

It is not mesquite, not sure on what wood it is, if I was guessing I would guess walnut. The picture came from a friend of mine that is a Canadian duck callmaker, he said he got the picture from someone else. Here is another one he sent me. .

I need to take a picture of the guys shop I got the wood from. Not as cool as those stairs, but pretty impressive, and its all cedar that he cut. The guy is a custom home builder, and is very talented. You should see his metal shop....Thing of beauty as well with every tool imaginable.
No way I am that talented as the guy that made that door or those stairs. I am thinking about making something rustic looking for the house. The wife may have other ideas for it.
