Well Fathers day Saturday I took about an hr of alone time to play with my personal 22 creedmoor and a new load for the rifle. Found a spot on our family farm I could set the targets out and get 790yards. Had 2 targets side by side to give me little more room for wind as it was pretty gusty. Here is my 5 shot group holding a mil for wind. Last one got away from me little. the 4 shot was 2 1/4 inches and the 5 shot was 3 1/2. Not to bad for a little 22.

Very nice! Still running the 75 gr A-max?
I check DOPE on my 22-250 with 75 gr A-max prior to the prairie dog trip. It always impresses me that a .22 cal bullet can hit with some ooomph still left at 800 yards.

yep thats the 75 grainer. Was only getting 3360 out of my 22 inch barrel with the 4831SC but grouped better there. Better speeds with the 4000mr but not quite the group.
I love fast 22s little recoil and you can watch it the whole way home.

What's the expected barrel life on this type of rig vs .223? I don't expect I'll be hunting any varmints or predators at 750y Looks like you certainly could though

I have a 24" barrel plus suppressor. He has a 22" and has not mentioned suppressor. He is making 130 fps more than I am. I'm so deep into .22-250 brass that I'll just stick with it on the next chamber.... Although, my current brass has had 6 loadings on it by now. If I was gonna switch over, the next barrel would be the time to do it.

No suppressor yet, still waiting. I am on the low end of speeds Think Dstroud is going closer to 3450? with a 24 inch.

Yes you can use 22-250 brass . I have actually loaded up 50 rounds of Lapua 22-250 brass and just shot it thru the 22 Creedmoor to see what would happen. I checked it at the range and then started shooting stuff.
