Im not a Glock guy and just purchased one. I took it to the range. First couple of magazines I
shot low and left. Its small and takes some getting use to. The recoil is snappy, but not bad. Once I got use to it, and stopped holding it so tight I got on target.
Right before I purchased it I heard all the horror stories about not having a safety. One needs to draw with finger out for sure!!
I will say the trigger is not the best, but I wouldn't want a easy pulling trigger if carrying it.
I ended up putting 100 rounds in it, and intend to put more. I think it's going to make a good carry pistol.
If You have any questions just pm.

Thanks for the info, I don't own a Glock but this may be worth considering.

I just recently got my CHL and I was looking for a carry pistol. I am not a pistol expert at all. The only one I owned prior to a few weeks ago is a Glock 34 for 3 Gun. I had a good amount of Cabelas gift cards so I bought a XDS 9mm and when I went to shoot it the local range just received a Glock 43 so I bought it and took both out and shot them along with my buddies M&P Shield.
Gave the XDS to my son and kept the 43. No real issues with any of them honestly I just felt most comfortable with the Glock and seemed to shot it well.... Although not as easy to shoot as my 34.

I've had one for a couple months now. I've put about 300rds through it with out a single hiccup. I've been through a bunch of carry guns (Glock 26 Gen3, Glock 26 Gen4, XDS9, XD SC9, KelTec PF9, Keltec P3AT, S&W 642, Bersa 380, Ruger LCP) and I think the G43 is probably the best I've carried. I carried the G26 G4 for almost 4 years so I knew I was gonna like the G43.

Just had night sights put on it last week and liking it even more now.

I have one to carry and it's pretty nice. I wish they were a hair lighter but that's my only complaint

How do you feel it compared side by side with the Shield? in my experience, as a shield owner and a friend as a recent glock 43 owner, the shield found my preference and was much more accurate in a side by side shoot.

I used the Sheild to qualify with and as I said I shot it fine. I did the comparison thinking maybe one of the three would be easier to shoot handle better or really wow me in some way but all were close in accuracy and shootabilty for me. I chose the Glock as it was equal to both the Shield and XDS in accuracy for me. I have shot it about 200 rounds and have not regretted the decision. Someone who is a more poficnient shot may be able to pick a clear winner in the accuracy dept. I don't have any group sizes but I do know with the Glock I can keep all shots easily in a 6 inch bull at 12 yards offhand.

I went Glock vs. any other brand ( except sig ) due to its reliability and its reputation for using all ammo.
I wanted the sig 938, but it came down to cash.

I've heard bad things about that Kimber solo. If you want a "1911 style" carry gun I'd go with the Sig P938 over the Kimber Solo for sure. I was thinking about the Sig P938 for a 1911carry, but don't want to go back to 9mm again I like having my calibers consolidated and now having to stock 40 for my Glocks and 45 for my 1911.. Arrggg my OCD is killing me lol.

Sorry just reread that saw you said Kimber micro, haven't heard of them before, but I'm since it says Kimber it comes at a premium. Would still go with the 938 you can get them now for around $500-$550 if you look hard enough.

Hey KRoyal...if your looking for a 1911 EDC in a .40, pick yourself up a Springfield EMP in a .40 and thank me later.
