Nice shooting. Horizontal strings may mean something that I'm sure the knowledgeable folks can help with. Bedding?
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............

Usually means the wind is blowing. It only takes a little breeze to move a 55gr bullet.

Wind, trigger pull, bedding, barrel (and heat), technique...many reasons for a flyer. Is it always the same round (ie, the 5th shot of the group)?
Still some good shooting!

Even with that errant shot you are .5 MOA. Pretty good in my book.
Seems like I always have a flyer. Most of the time it is me. Just have to keep practicing.

Still some good shooting! nah its never the same in this case it was my third shot. trigger is 14 ounces, gun has not been bedded, maybe its time to think about that.

Shoot another group, if it stays that good. I'd call it GREAT!

Trigger control (on the flier), wind, or accuracy node can cause the stringing. My bet is the wind. Like stated, it doesn't take much to move a 55 grain at 200. When shooting the group, you will need to shoot on the same wind condition. On the accuracy node, groups will generally string right before an accuracy node. If you play with a load about .2 grains before and after the load you shot, this can answer the question if it's the accuracy node or not. But 1" at 200 from a factory gun is pretty good.

it could be anything
next time this happens, separate the 5 cases, mark the case that did the flying
reload those 5 see if that same case causes flyer again, if so, you've got an out of round case. Fix it if you can : turn necks, trim .... or just put it in a pile of 'plinker' cases
