Was trying to find a long put off task earlier today to ignore the hyper fast rising lakewater coming up the driveway again - over 2 1/2 foot rise in 24 hours this morning, and try and calm my nerves with busywork....gonna be a looong nite again with no sleep.
Cars have been around the corner and up the street for 3 days waiting on this & the boathouse has finally broken loose, whipping around on the anchor cables in the wind...but thats better than the 3 stall across the creek from me that has now broken up and sunk in 25-30 feet of water, like my 45' steel walkway that PTL is still attaced to its usually above water steel & concrete anchor system, thats now barely afloat in 30'water.
Decided to finally go thru the 22 ammo storage box and see exactly what is there. Some of this stuff is pretty old, lots of is loose and is now counted out, still loose, into sandwich meat plastic storage tubs instead of the old metal coffee cans I'd been using, some is still plastic boxed + there a brick of shrink wrapped WW Wildcat I'd forgotton about. Hopefully all the real trashy estate sale stuff I'd bought is now ID'd and been culled from what I've been shooting off of for years and years.
So, what do ya'all think would be a fair price on this 22 LR ammo if I were to offer it for sale, on a by the round price?? I'm thinking it's in 3 grades: A. Promo, in Blazer/Wildcat etc, B. Standard RP/WW & Fed, in HV & Std velocity, HP & SP, etc. C. and got some unopened CCI Stingers I'd forgotton about too. Ron

Thx 'Dude. Thats about the range I came up with, with the low end Promo stuff a penny cheaper. Hard to price the odd amounts in loose round tubs with out doing it by the round.
Gonna run them by a LGS as trade goods early next week. Just need to get a firm count. Ya'all prolly see the package's after that. I will never shoot all this stuff, so somebody else needs to.
FWIW the LGS has some new & used brass I've been buying, that might be of interest...anybody want a 100ct bag of RP 1x 6.5 RemMg, a 50 ct bag of new RP 300Wby, or couple bags of new WW 300WSM?? Ron
