Found another cool tool for the egg. http://www.looftlighter.com/This thing will get your BGE up to heat FAST. And it's kind of fun. I've been thinking about what else I can burn with it. Should also work on any charcoal grill, stick burners, fire places, etc.

My wife got me one for Christmas last year and it's awesome! Definitely the quickest way to light a grill.

Not a heat gun exactly because it has a fan in it. Plus it has a longer handle to keep your knuckles out of the heat.
I think I paid $60 on Amazon Prime for it delivered.

A Master heat gun will do that too. I have one and never thought to use it that way. We used to light ciggies with them.

Let me know when they make a cordless one. I've tried a torch and the electric lighter, but I prefer using fire cubes. If I'm in a hurry I just hit if for a few seconds with the leaf blower.
