I hunted these in NM as a young man. Shot plenty and none of the ever looked as good as this bad boy! Also he HARDEST hunt I have ever been on.

Getting any rain this morning Don? Been raining real hard for about an hour now. Went to see a friend of mine who lives at the head waters of Medina Lake. Drove there the short way on Bottle Springs rd. Where it crosses the Medina River you drive through water. A few hours later I was coming back an they had closed the rd. Had to go through Pipe Creek to get back to Bandera. I imagine you have gotten about all the rain you need for a while by now also. We are just now starting to get WT fawns. This about 2 weeks or so later than normal. still seeing does with big bellies. Had a Ibex have a kid about a week ago. About a month later than I have had that happen. Having a lot of problems with stomach worms in kid goats right now and have never had that before. Everything is screwed up right now.

Animals look great. Problems that are good to have to deal with for the short term. Long term those lakes filling back up are great for the economy where you live. I sure would of bet against it happening in my lifetime.
