Armalite 6.8 has accounted for 8 kills so far this year. Last two were one Friday night and another Saturday night. I'm using the 120 gr SST Hornady Premium factory loads. It does the job quite well.

Nice shooting. I've built two 6.8's. Great caliber. I have one with a day scope and have a Digisight N750 night vision scope mounted on the other.

In my opinion it is the best all around hunting caliber for the AR15 platform

The 6.8 is the #1 choice for hunting deer and hogs in an AR15

Love mine too. It's my go to hunting rifle. Even got rid of my custom 7mm-08. I just don't need anything bigger than the 6.8 for hogs and whitetail here in Central Texas. It has taken both with no problems.

I agree also, that of all the variants of bigger calibers for the AR-15 platform, the 6.8 is probably the best hunting cartridge. I base this opinion on the fact that pretty much all of the ammo makers have embraced it & make bullets specific to the 6.8's velocities & performance. Remember, the original design criteria was to develop a military round with a heavier bullet for more knockdown yet fit in the existing AR-15 package with minimal changes.

I'm a big .270 Win fan, but this Lil'.270 has me building one on a Ruger #3 for deer hunting.

I love my 6.8. Does a number on pigs, raccoons and coyotes. Haven't shot a deer with the 6.8, but hopefully I get the chance this year.

I love the 6.8 and have been pushing 95 gr TTSX out of it. If there is an exist wound, its usually big enough to stick 2 or 3 fingers in. I've even seen them open up on something as small as a jack rabbit.

We all need to practice Whoa more.
