Went down to the place to fill feed and check in on things. Lots of water, didn't fill either of these feeders, they are standing in water of our tank that is out of its banks, sometimes the water stands for months, and it was raining when we left so probably rising. Little intruder we killed inside the garage sunday morning And a sleepy little boy on the way home We sat 2 morning hunts and 1 evening hunt while we were there and didn't see anything, deer or hogs. Range is in great conditions, persimmons are loaded up as well as several other bushes and trees with berries etc. Grass in the camp yard was taller than me. Put cams back out now hoping to see some growth in the coming weeks. I spent a little time looking for sheds, but it was a waste in all the growth.

At least you got some "recon" done. Does look very green, deer and hogs living the high life right now.

After I shredded the senderos you saw quail running every time you went out.

After I shredded the senderos you saw quail running every time you went out. I was down in Southeast Duval last week and saw the same thing with quail and cover. Deer were really starting to hit feed on this ranch since mid-late May. But it did look great as green and tall as it was. Really thick.

They are using the feed, but not really hitting it quite yet. We had some free choice feeders that weren't quite empty yet.
I did notice we have a few water troughs out for the deer and the deer don't seem to be using them at all. Guess they prefer the natural water as apposed to troughs.
