So I finally got to go to the range with the AR10 I built in 7mm-08, here are the specs again.

Lower
RPG billet Lower
CMMG LPK
Giselle SSA-E
KNS Pins
Ergo Grip
Magpul PRS

Upper
RPG Matched Upper
Troy 13.8" Rail
PRI ADJ gas block
Bartlein 5R barrel custom made to 20.5" AR10 Barrel
Shadow Weaponary Nickle Boron BCG
BCM Charging Handle
LaRue 20MOA 1 piece 34MM Mount
Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5x21.50 G2
JEC Level Bubble
RPG Ti 30Cal Suppressor

So after getting it sighted in and barrel broke in with factory ammo, I ran my groups of hand loads. Used 1X fired Remington brass, CCI Primer, 162 AMAX over Varget powder, started at 40.0grs and worked up in .2grs to 40.8grs. Best was three shot group using 40.6grs, pulled one of the shots so that's why it was a three shot not four shot. measured under.500", pretty good for a gas gun. Now I just need to load ten more to run through the suppressor and chrono.

Next is my 308, thanks to Chad for a couple pointers I got it running 178 AMAX out of my AAC-SD at 2600 FPS AVG with the 10 shot spread being 2606 to 2591 so ES of 15 FPS. Here is a five shot group measuring just under .500"

Anyway, thanks for looking and I'm really looking forward to getting with Fireman to stretch these guys out to 800.

Awesome groups.

I thought factory Remington barrels were worthless and needed to be replaced. Of course I'm being sarcastic. My Remmy 700 with factory barrel shots great too.

Looking good so far. Just wondered of the high shot in each group could be the first one fed into the chamber while the others were fed by the action cycling after the shot. Have seen that first shot go elsewhere a little with AR rifles in the past.

It was the second shot that was high, 1, 3, 4 were the ones in the group.

Is it legal to score my bowling like that, just take the strikes and ignore the gutter balls (pulled shots)? laugh

I'm just kidding, that is nice shooting and I am supremely jealous of your gun and caliber choice. up up
