This forum has helped my outfitting business tremendously. I can not even begin to tell everyone how important it has been to have THF members as clients, future clients, and references.
Our Ranch Lodge is already booked for a wedding that weekend, so our typical 'everything included package' is not available. But I wanted to extend an invitation to THF members and their families.
New Mexico, Black Bear Hunting with Hounds at a very reasonable price.
I'd be outfitter on the deal, can provide up to 4 guides, 6 to 8 complete packs of VERY well trained big game hounds, transportation during the hunt, field care and packing services, federal land use permit, and campsite.
Hunters will have to provide their own meals, lodging, or camping and cooking equipment. Very High Success Rate Hunt will take place near Pecos, NM on a combination of large private ranches and limited access public land.
If I am able to gain some interest- we will need a group leader to organize camp responsibilities and a minimum of 3 hunters in good physical condition. Please post questions here. I didn't want this to become a classified ad, and hope to keep this in the open hunting discussion- If allowed by admins.
If the hunting sucks on Saturday... we can always crash the wedding party!!

Price?

I might be interested depending on price. Already planning on going August 16 to the 21st. This will be a self-guided one in the Gila national Forest. Always wanted to try hunting them with dogs . My hunt is flexible I could change dates.

LOL, Not free, there are a ton of costs to cover on these hunts. But $2,200 plus tax, plus licenses per hunter is very competitively priced and will cover everything on my end. That's discounted about 40%
My original intent was to not post a price- and keep this out of the classified area.
