Anyone have one and what do you think? I just built a 300 win mag with a big horn action, bartlein MTU contour barrel and KRG whiskey 3 chasis system. I plan on putting a nightforce beast on it but funds are just not allowing at this moment so thought I would try one of these till I can get the nightforce. Other considerations are the SWFA super sniper and Leupold mark 4.

I'd take one or the ss over a MK4.

I have never been a big fan of the mark 4 either. Just wondering if it was the one I used or if more people have that opinion

X2

Want one and planning on having one before long if I can figure out what to sell to get it. The beast gets higher marks but for the $ the Bushy is hard to beat.

Have a Bushy 6500 2.5-15 with capped target turrets that I really like and it is not as good as the Tactical series.

The beast is a silly gimmick. Who thought it would be a good idea to adjust elevation in .2 mil, and then have a throw lever for .1 adjustments? Truly a silly idea.

The 5-25 atacr f1 is the better choice. Cheaper too.

I have the 3.5-21X ERS on loan from Bushnell right now. It is absolutely fantastic!

I love my SS 5-20 X and will not ever sell it, but the Bushnell is a step above in a few features.

Those that look at 1000 yards as a "short range shot".

For the extreme range shooting I think it's a good idea, but not inside 1k.

Until I hear of guys having a 80-90% hit ratio, on 1 moa targets, inside 1200 yards. I won't consider that short range.

Sure it may be necessary to reach out further on occasion, but to design a .2 mil turret around that idea is silly.

It's not silly. Run the numbers on a 7 Rem Mag, 300 Win Mag, 338 LM, 338 NM, to a mile.

Run the numbers on the .338, 408, 416, 50, ect. 2500 yards plus.

Are there very many shooters that do this regularly? Not a ton, but more than one would think. That is the niche this scope is for in my opinion. Does it make me want one? No, I don't have an extreme range rifle, so I don't have a need for the BEAST. If I was building a rifle for those distances I would seriously consider the BEAST. I don't have a use for it now though and really like the Bushnell which is back on topic.

Me neither. The bushnell, ss 5-20, and a slew of other scopes are the better choice.

I had a 4.5-30 and I loved it. It went with the gun and I should have kept it.

Compared it side by side with the Mk4 in the field and to my and my friends eye there was no difference in the sight picture and clarity.

I have the Bushnell 3.5-21x50 Elite Tactical DMR 34mm Rifle Scope with G2 reticle and love it. I am still new to this long range game but I can tell the difference to my Vortex PST 6-24 and would spend the extra for the Bushy. Clarity is great and I like how short it is compared to others.

I have a couple of the elite tactical 3-12's and a XRS 4.5-30, really impressive scopes, especially when Natchez blows them out at half price. I didn't go to SHOT show this year and haven't done any checking but I have a hunch that Bushnell is going to revamp their Elite Tactical line and come out with some even more impressive scopes next year.

I've got all kinds of scopes, my favorite is the elite tactical 3.5-21 HDMR.
