I have a few thousand 208 Amax's so I would like to use those in my 300bo. Anyone have a load for these that keeps them sub sonic?

I use 7.3gr of bluedot, but that is for a bolt gun, not AR

HHUUMMMM, what to write, what to write, I got nothing.

AA 1680, worked up to 1040fps (is subsonic in my conditions). Shoots 1" at 100 in a home assembled savage 10 with custom barrel. I think it's 10.3 gr but I would have to check my books.

Lil gun and reloader 7 have given me very accurate results.

8.3gr of lil gun in an 8" AR. Cycles perfectly and is subsonic. Accuracy is about 1.5-2" at 100 yards.

Seems like an awful waste of a good bullet.

Well I have 2k of them sitting here so I might as well shoot them in something.

Fair enough. You don't have a 308, 30-06, 300wsm, win mag or anything that could take advantage of such a fine bullet at a decent range?

If not, sounds like a rifle project waiting to happen.
