I wanted to see how hard it would be to make my own suppressor covers. I did some research and found the right material so that it would withstand up to 1800 degree temp. What do you guys think? I did not spend near as much as what they are asking for the ones I see for sale!

Looks good. Want to share what materials were used?

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

That's awesome...someone has some mad sewing skillz. Looks great! I need to break down and buy one but I need to do some research on which one I want. I'm not going to lie, I did have sticker shock when I looked at them.

I used a welding/Plumber's Pad for the inside and some ballistic fabric for the outside with Para-cord for the loops and wrap.

Wow. After looking at all the suppressor covers that are out there including Mantas, I think I will market mine for the mid $40's. That would be significantly less than the cheapest I found. I'll start listing these in the trading section this weekend.

Good idea, I always like making a little money on the side. I'd much rather buy one of yours than Mantas those things are fugly..

Elite Iron is the one I use, they are priced right and look very similar to the one you made.
