Im going to say cottonwood borer. the difference between this and a longhorn is the color configuration. Longhorn is black with light spots and the cotton wood is light with black spots

I use to get attacked by them when I was younger. They were always around our cottonwood trees. I have not seen one in 35 years

^^this.....used to have these all over the cottonwood tree out behind my house growing up...aggressive little suckers..
