Well--where to start??? I am very new to hunting and need "lots" of help and guidance (aka PATIENTS) when taking me

I hooked up on a very short notice hunt outside Sonora, TX for 3 days with Mike and his team....It was set up as 1 guide and me for the 3 days to hunt Axis Does.....There were about 5 other individuals there for Bucks as well. Four of the 5 got their kills by the early part of the second day. Having not seen any Axis Does during that period, Mike put all available guides with the 2 of us to help stalk and push Does to us, luck for the 5th person (still missed my opportunity).

That is where I have to really give credit to the full compliment of Mike's Team....the second half of the second day I personally had all 3 guides AND Mike take me out alone. STILL --NADA But they would not give up in helping me find my opportunity. They made it a point to get up early (all of them) and take me out on my last morning, they spent so much time to help and get me in the back locations (areas that were very obviously not typically seen) to try and improve my chances....IT WORKED (the chance that is). They got me 3 different opportunities, my lack of experience, THEIR patients, helped me to learn things I had not known and improved at each of the 3 opportunities and understand my MISS...The hunt was supposed to end after the morning events, BUT again, their strong desire for me to be successful, offered to take me on a late afternoon, early evening hunt if I wanted to do so--having a long drive ahead of me (I drove just over 9 hrs for the hunt--from Arizona), I turned the offer down--but just the fact they offered is outstanding.

Let me just leave with this...THANKS MIKE AND THE TEAM!!! I had a fantastic time over the 3-days and, in Arnold's famous words, I'll be back!! cheers

Steve G.

Great review for Mike and his guys.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I hunted javelinas with Mike back in December. Mike and Tyler worked their tails
off to make sure we had an enjoyable and successful hunt. I would recommend Mike
to anyone. You can bet I will hunt with Mike again in the future.

Steve thank you for the very kind words and thank you for your patience on this hunt. You stuck it out until the end
and although you did not get any meat for the freezer it was still a successful hunt and we saw lots of critters.
Take care and I look forward to having you out in the future.

Steve, it was good to meet you. Mike and his guides always work hard, one of the reasons I come back and back and back.
