Up for sale is a Barrett Model M95 .50BMG bolt-action bullpup rifle. This rifle uses detachable box magazines which hold 5 rounds. Bullpup means that the chamber is located in the stock behind the trigger/grip. The bullpup configuration gives this rifle a short overall length in spite of its 29" barrel, and improves the rifle's balance for easy shouldering...
Recoil from this beast is surprisingly tame thanks to several features: the three-chamber muzzle brake, the forgiving rubber butt-pad, and the 32lb weight of the rifle!
I had a lot of fun out on the ranch with this rifle in the pre-kid years, but haven't taken it out of the safe in at least 2 years. I hate keeping safe queens around, so it's time to let someone else enjoy it!
The rifle comes with the factory-supplied Pelican 1750 case, factory-supplied cleaning kit & tools, factory bipod, QTY 1 5 round magazine, and the Barrett ultra-high 30mm heavy duty scope rings. I want to keep the scope that is currently on the rifle, but would sell it with the scope for a motivated buyer.
It currently has a Leupold Mark IV 4.5-14X scope on it with a 30mm tube, 50mm objective, mil-dot reticle, and an extended sunshade.
$6200 without the scope, $7300 with the scope. As for trades, I would consider partial trades for a Tavor and thermal/night vision scopes/monoculars. Also need a 400-500 yd hunting scope if buyer wants this one, prefer mil-dot, 50mm or larger objective. Also looking for dove hunting shotguns.
I have 155 rounds of ball and AP .50BMG ammo that will be available to the buyer for $2.50-$3 per round. I can provide a detailed list of the ammo to serious buyers.
I'm between Dallas and Lewisville most days.
Must show me a current TX DL, be lawfully able to purchase and posses a firearm, and sign a bill of sale stating as much.
