So I'm sitting here in the hot box waiting on a hog to show. With all the rain a couple weeks ago, I had a bag of cubes get a little wet. Last night I poured the bag out in the feeder pen. A doe just worked her way into the field and is standing there eating cubes from the pile. Never seen that before. They are made with corn so maybe that's it. Anybody else ever seen it?

They will eat them. I had a friend who fed deer on his lease cottonseed cubes back in the 70's.

Deer used to visit my feed troughs after I fed cubes, usually only dust left after the cows rolled on though.

Deer also love "sweet feed" made for livestock.
Heck guys, deer are glorified goats and will eat practically anything.

I put our alfalfa last yr, deer did not touch it, also put out mineral pellets, did not eat, they are really chowing down on the corn every night.

Deer have slobber hanging to the ground chewing on cubes. Funny to watch. I'll take and fling a coffee can full around the blind, gives them something to hang around on.

I've always found they like range cubes and sweet feed as well.

your cattle don't like wet cubes? They were getting green hairy growth on them. Cows cost too much to take a chance on giving them a tummy ache.
