ya, that's kinda the catch. I purchased some 30mm rings for my ruger m77 in 260, and the 1" rings are no good anymore.

edit:
For reference I'm thinking hard about a Viper HS 2.5-10x44. Would love to get more scope for less or similar money used.

Gravytrain, I have a 4-12 Cabelas Alaskan Guide Series that came on a rifle I traded for.
These scopes originally sold in the $395 range. I've read mediocre reviews but this one is
extremely clear, as clear as my Vipers. Comes w/ rings. I'd take $250. P_102

I have a Burris Fullfield E1 Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 3-9x 40mm that is new in the box never been mounted that I am thinking about parting with.
