Still getting used to this thing. Might make you dizzy at one point. These tanks were bone dry late last year

It's a DJI Phantom 2 plus. Comes with HD camera, batteries....$1300. I will write it off for tracking wildlife and domestic cattle.

Awesome, been wanting one of these myself. However still need a couple professional chainsaws and some other things for the place. This is on the list of wants still not needs but one day. Nice aerial footage!
Keep these videos coming.

Very cool, not just fun, but could be a very useful tool for the ranch.

No not at all...you can release the controls and it will hover over that spot..it's also got a built in autopilot that will allow you to fly a route for up to 25 minutes hands free.

Can you watch the video feed in real time, or does it go to an internal (on-board) storage device for download later?

I personally have flown it with the phone 1.5 miles away. It's not the phone that limits it it's the receiver that you are holding. It automatically returns to spot where it took off if from if it loses signal from the aircraft

Are they quiet enough to track game or would the chopper spook them?

At low levels 50-70' it may spook them...but higher altitudes 100-400' I doubt it.
