I moved the gooseneck trailer that had been in the same place for three months and was running the trimmer cutting the rye grass left over. I found him with the head of the trimmer and thank God he went away from me instead of toward me. Fortunately I keep a shovel in the truck.

I'm not a hater of all snakes, because I don't like rodents, but I don't want this variety around.

Last year a man that work's on my crew,His 3yr son got bit on his left little toe eeks333,NOW he know's what a snake is,48 hrs in the hospital he came home, A real little trooper up

One of the few I kill on site as well. Good thing you saw him 1st.

I used to wear boots for farm work, but as I get older, hard to beat the comfort of a T shoe, so I have to be as alert as I can.

state record is like 36" this ones close to 30" he took two rounds of 9mm 124JHP at about 10ft, yeah I know theres 3 holes he was coiling up and one round went through him in two places

Exactly my thoughts! I didn't even tell my wife about it, because she would be afraid from now on. Maybe I need some King Snakes and a sign saying "Don't kill the King Snakes because they kill the Copperheads".
