How many inch lbs should I use to tighten the screws on scope base to top of Ruger 10-22?
Obviously less than 15 since that stripped out the first two bang

Did it strip the screw or the receiver?

Ruger's manual says 12-15 in-lbs max. A few on line indicated 10-12. If you stripped them at 15 I would suggest going down to 10. Brownell's has a repair kit as I have read. Good luck.
