I was reloading this morning when my phone rang. I answered it on Bluetooth. As soon as I answered the scales jumped by 2.0 grains and continued to fluctuate. I immediately stepped away. I never talk on the phone while loading anyway but was expecting this call. My stuff will stay in the other room from now on.

Confirmed. Ran a test with 2 cell phones. Only one was with the person measuring powder approx 1.5 feet away from the electronic scale. Grains fluctuated the entire time, but peaked at 2 grains when everyone hung up.

Yep....Most of the digital Chinese scales don't have proper RF shielding.

Didn't even consider the manufacturer. It's a more expensive Lyman. But I bet it's made in China. I'm gonna look.

I run a high end Sartorious scale, and it doesn't do it as near as bad as my previous scales. But I still keep my phones and other items that will mess with the scales.
