Try to keep cats out in the barn for mouse patrol and snake control around the house, yotes and bobcats try to thin them out, but have more yungins in the barn, time will tell...

Knew a fellow who would always take a full litter of kittens. He had horses, chickens and goats on small acreage, and was always looking for barn cats. He barely fed them. Claimed when you started feeding them they quit hunting. Once commented to his daughter about the cats. She said mice/rats did not last long.
