elk or red stag doe would be my initial guess. Hard to tell without something included in the picture to get approximate size to compare. I am not familiar with sika though.

I think red deer. Very curious about the noggin of the one feeding. Looks odd.

Sika or Sika/Red deer cross, the tails too short to be a Fallow, so the black bar down the tail indicates Sika. Many Sika have a dark patch, over the top of the white rump, which makes me consider a cross. Except tor the absence of the dark patch it matches all the identification markers for a Sika.

Clear as mud! thanks fellas! lol.. I know, same boat I am in.. not quite enough info to tell. Looks like it is a Red Stag... but I know I have Sika out there also...so.. no freaking telling which it is. When you also see these.. you think Sika.. but, not sure they are the same deer(s)?

Red Deer by color and size. To big of a body to be Sika, might be a bit of a cross in them somewhere.

perre David deer. Spelling is wrong I am sure. Quite shockingly similar features to the Père David's deer, actually.. long snout, eyes, etc.. but not quite convinced it would be one of those as they are extremely rare.. extinct except in captivity and these would be highly sought after if around here. All red deer, except the last is a sika.
