Can't imagine why unless the seating die had special bullet plug for a unusual nose contour. But the rest of the die set should be the same.

'Cowboy' loads are usually CAST bullets, which OFTEN have a slightly larger diameter bullet (than jacketed loads). This means a die set especially taylored for them may have neck sizing may be slightly larger(looser) than for jacketed loads, and it may very well bell/flare the neck mouth to accept the soft (lead) bullet without scraping it, as well as 'crimping' it closed on bullet seating/crimping. Plus what blackcoal mentioned.
