tried a new variety of tomato this yr..on the right, Cherokee purple, very tasty, little more acidity, disease resistant, good producer, delicate skin, will be planted again next yr.

Good looking tomatoes. I am having a problem with rotting from all the rain. I picked a bunch of tomatoes today and trying to ripen them in a bag. I have been told that will work, but never tried it before.
A clear conscience is often the sign of a fuzzy memory.

never did the bag, just put them on a window sill, let me know if it works, try raised beds for your plants next yr.

My wife did the paper bag thing with about 25 green tomatoes. It worked like a champ. She would pull a couple of nice ripe ones out about every day until they were gone.
