OK folks, I am going to build me a high rack for my truck for varmint/hog hunting here in South Texas. Come on with the great ideas that yall have seen or used yourself. I would like to make it easily removable, as this is my everyday vehicle, but I do have an overhead crane at my shop. Pics would be a huge help with this.

This is the platform I built for our Jeep. It's bolted to the bumpers but if the Jeep ever craters, I'll build a different base for it and just strap it down in a pickup bed or my flatbed ranch truck.

Nice I like the simplicity of it, and was also considering making mine with the base and top separate for that reason.

Lukedog, very nice. That is pretty much exactly what I drew up for mine. Wife would kill me if I bought it, although I would like to. I can make it at my shop slowly and the money used wont be so easily noticed......
