Where are you getting yours from? The price has finally started coming down. Online and how much and how much are you paying for shipping?

I bought some .22 Mags from these guys last week. Not the cheapest price but I bought 6 boxes and shipping was around $12 for a total of just under $96.

Where are you seeing prices come down? I hear you guys say availability is up in the DFW area but Lubbock is still a desert wasteland of.22, and online all I've done is watch CCI go up-up-up. I bought some CCI off Gunbroker about 4 months ago and could make a tidy profit off it at today's prices but I didn't buy it to sell.

Keep checking Cabela's website, especially early in the mornings. It shows up when they have it and can ship to the Lubbock store without paying for shipping if you are close by.

I see bricks of 22 ammo at cabelas every time I go in at 26 to 28 dollars for 500+ rounds (ft worth)

Friday they must of had 200 bricks on the shelf and a cart.

Natchez Shooting has the 325 rounds for 17.99. Problem is they get them in one morning and within 2 minutes they are gone.

I always check the shelf anytime I go to Walmart. Get lucky now and then picking up one or 2 of the 525 count boxes.

Dick's had it today. Remington 525s for $29.99

I see a lot of the Remington 525's $27 and up. I'll probably regret it later but don't plan on buying until it gets down to $20 or so.

It won't. The market will always support the higher prices. Once prices go up at a retail level, they rarely go down. At least on a consumable like ammo.

Oil was never going to go back down either. You never know.

Watch Gunbot.com....cabelas has CCI 40gr for 4.99/box. If you had one close you could order online 1 per day and have transferred to store and pickup.

I was in Rifle Gear the new shop in Plano today. They had the 300 round packs of Troy Landry Swamp People CCI Mini Mags for I think it was $30. Don't know if that is cheap enough for you but it's a new shop that needs support from people and you don't really find any better 22 ammo than mini mags.

That's not too bad a deal. I got some of those from Gander maybe 5-6 months ago on ship-to-store. Tax included I got out the door for ~$27.

I just bought 200 rounds of Remington super sonic 22 lr from Cabelas for 6 bucks a pop.

They had plenty of .17 HMR on the shelf too.

Supply and demand works. If we keep paying $0.07 - $0.10 a round it'll not go down. I bought a box of Winchester copper plated .22s Tues for less than $0.045 a round at a WalMart. Last one they had. Left the CCI MiniMags at just under $0.10. I'm sure some yahoo will buy them and help keep the price too high a little longer.

Just think about price and availability were the last couple of years.

I picked up a M-22 1000rnd box of 22lr at Wal-Mart in Denton on Wednesday of last week and it was only $50. It was camouflaged in with the pistol and .223 ammo. Its still around, but the hoarders and gougers are the problem. I refused to pay higher prices to the A** clowns. I still find it funny that people pay more than double for it.
