I've been asked this a bunch, and seen quite a few post on it over the last year or so so here it is yes you can see snakes day or night with thermal.

That's interesting. They do retain a certain amount of heat for a period of time. Their body temp does not always match the ambient temp. There is lag time both ways, as they warm up or cool down. Thanks, that's a cool video.
